Testimonials
“A successful Acting School requires a fine balance of practising artists and academic teaching staff. For the last fifteen years I have depended on Annie Lee to be both..Best of all, the outcome for the students is quantifiable and of high professional standard. I could just say that the students adore her, but that would be under-valuing this teacher. She is a dedicated, tough, uncompromising educator in the work of training actors across the board.” (Dianne Eden, Head of Acting Studio, Queensland University of Technology)
“Annie’s contribution to the course was to design, facilitate and assess all aspects of the students’ work. The course was an immense success, recording five out of five in course and teaching evaluations. Annie was invited back to Griffith a couple of years later, as a result of high student demand. The course again scored maximum points in the student evaluations. Annie is an instinctive performer and natural teacher. She takes the time to support students’ ideas, but also challenges them to push deeper and find authenticity in developing characters and performances. Without exception it is possible to see the influence of Annie’s work on students development and final performances.”
(Professor Michael Balfour, Chair Applied Theatre, Griffith University)
